Mangopare is a programme designed to Identify Rangatahi most at risk of long-term unemployment that may also have complex whānau living environments that will need a holistic whānau centric approach to overall well being and success.
The programme aims to develop individualised plans for Rangatahi that identify their current barriers to engaging in further education or employment and training.
The approach is based around total Hauora which connects Rangatahi to their sense of identity, cultural awareness, focussed on the pou of Hinengaro, Wairua, Tinana and Whānau as we know in a Māori worldview these areas of total health and well being can not be separated when dealing with our whānau.
Offering the opportunity to take Rangatahi on mindset changing experiences that will allow them to develop basic life skills for long term success such as Marae Noho, connection to the Moana and Ngahere away from social media and external distractions.
